First track ever (1 minute sample)

I've started producing one week ago (LOL) and this is what I could came up 'till now. I'm preaty embarased with this but I think we all gotta start somewhere, right? I know many of you are realy good and talented producers and I thought some feedback from you would help, though there are only a few sounds in this sample.

you actually used a decent kick sample which is a good start for a 'young' producer

Yup, I made the percution using several samples that I altered a little bit, the basseline and the melody (which sucks) were made using a synth and some effect devices.
