sometimes it goes back to a previously saved playlist - because when you most recently shut winamp down, it mighta not shut down properly...i've had that before..
I never use Winamp's playlist thingy, When I want to listen to a track, I click on it on the folder, Heh, Anyways, I'm still using version 2.95 and I hacked it by copying these certain DLL files from Winamp 5 so that 2.95 can play those NSV streams with the AAC+ audio in them.
Soz to jack, but when I play a file on winamp that I've copied on to the computer from CD (yes, I've got the original and not sharing copies with anyone, just did it for my own convenience), it stops between tracks. PITA as most of what I listen to is trancey mix sets and it keeps cutting out mid-mix then going back on a split second later...Am I doing something wrong?

Winamp just has to open the next file I think. It's damn annoying though, when you're listening to an album or something, breaks up the whole mix!
Is there anyway to fix this? I'm thinkin no..
How about a different media player?

The album is saved as a set of tracks instead of an entire album, so when i 'play all', theres a gap between each track - definitly noticeable and quite annoying. I'm using wmp to rip just now, but now you mention it I've got better software I could be making use of - I'll try adobe audition. Cheers!

Instead of copying the album as seperate tracks get a program called exactaudiocopy.
That allows you to rip the album as one continuous .mp3 and also makes a .cue sheet for you so if you get a plugin for winamp it will split the tracks without having the gaps in there
