I had fun in the Safeway parking lot tonight.
So, I realized the other day that the subs in my car are powerful enough to trip car alarms in parking lots. Tonight, on the way out of the Safeway parking lot, I decided to see how many I could trigger with my THX subwoofer test disc. (Pushing the full 1200W on track two actually hurts if you're sitting in the back seat.)
I got an RSX, a BMW M3, and a riced out Honda Civic blaring before I reached the lot exit. I think I had more fun pulling that than I did listening to music on the way home. The funniest part was that, for whatever reason, there was someone in the RSX when I made the alarm go off. I don't know why you'd have an alarm armed while you're inside the car... but it was funnier than shit to see him jump.
I really want to take my car into one of the upscale corporate parking garages in Seattle. Not only do all of the cars parked in those lots have alarms... it's also solid concrete... Giant amplification chamber.
