yep, according to jayx there wasn't enough 'support' when it was a house nite. i personally thought the night i went it was a pretty good crowd enjoying the music, but i was only there one time on a saturday when it was strictly house, so i can't comment. its just a huge pet peeve of mine when two rooms at a club are playing exactly the same music. its so annoying, i thought one room of house and one of hip hop would be the perfect compromise, but obviously that didn't work for them, as it doesn't seem to work for many clubs in toronto. its a shame, but everyone likes their mainstream shit music in toronto (or northamerica for that matter) so thats how it is. |
Actually the hip hop in the last 2 weeks has been less and less and more toward the beginning of the night. We are starting to get a crowd that seems to be more into house. Lil Pete also tries his best to stick to the popish hip hop instead of the gangsterish stuff to try and keep the atmosphere a little more lively while at the same time appeasing all the 19 year old girls who want to hear "hip Hap"
