[Dark Progressive] Krimes - You'll Never See Morning (192kbps full track)

Hey again,

First draft of the finished version of this now completed but would love some comments from you guys on the EQ side of things, not quite sure if it works how it is. The bass and everything else are all now in key so hopefully that doesn't cause any problems. Thoughts on the melody and then the change in the melody sound would be appreciated too.

Direct Download below, right click and save target as:

Many thanks

this is well dark! i'm on my laptop at the mo so cant really give it a proper critique as i cant listen to it very well, but i aint a fan of that noise that comes in at 3mins 24secs. its too overpowering and lasts too long. you've defintly got the dark feel going tho, so good note choice/progression.

I'd add more percussion, and add more elements such as effects, reverses, build it up more. I begin to lose interest moving further on in the tune as well as its too repititive. It defintly needs more adding to it but dont give up. I'm new to producing so i cant really give anymore advice. Btw around 1min 55 is really nice, my fav part

Please check out my latest tune:

Thanks for the reviwe mate, appreciated of course.

Hehe very dark was the aim, glad its come across that way. I have actually changed the main lead as I weren't too keen on it either so the link now includes that new lead. Haven't had a chance to beef it up with some other elements though but will do in the near future, thanks for the suggestions

Will check out your track for sure.

Any comments on the artwork btw anyone?

The intro could definitely use some more variation.

The lead is way too wet. It gets really muddy in there. Turn down the feedback on that delay a tad.

You need a steady kick. That's a big thing. You've got that really cool thumping sound, but that's more for groove. A kick would give your track a beat and make it more danceable. In general you need more percs, and your hats need to be more audible.

Good ideas. Just look into those percussions a bit more.

It is indeed new version, changed the bass key and completed the track to a certain extent.

Thanks for checking out.

Very dark... I like

Can't really fault the production from what I hear except that it's a little empty and repetitive, maybe adding more fx/perc would help...

overall too much delay all along

If i was you i would ditch everything and keep the bass

I would start over constructing around that awesome bass you have

LOL, I always tell u that but this time i just copied and pasted the comments here .
My advice, the same advice I always give u, add more elements, stop being so repetitive, one thing is to be minimalyst and another to be repetitive and monotone .
I hope I dont sound mean man I am being just honest and trying to help u, u have a good style and really sweet ideas but u kinda vicious with bored and repetitive beats .
Keep it up .
Kopi =o.
