So I wanted to go check out this great place called Beba Lounge that everyone was talking about for the last couple of weeks.
We walk up to the door and I peer inside and see a fairly empty place and the Gino at the door says "Sorry guys, it's REALLY packed and the cover is 10 bucks".
I laughed and walked away.
Larissa and Laura go to the door and there is no cover for them. Neither any cover for a group of ginos.
Now come on, if you want to start a night on a weekday, just be happy that people are coming and buying drinks. Don't charge a cover or charge a 2 dollar cover to EVERYONE. None of this bullshit about certain peeps paying and certain peeps not paying.
All I wanted was to check it out for an hour, like I am going to pay 1o bucks for it. Please. I would rather buy 2 drinks. Or go watch TV.

Strange. I've been there for a handful of Thursdays since May and it was always free and a wicked time... I've never seen them charge cover on a Thursday.

Maybe u should call the management to inquire about this. I'm not sure if the promoters = the management, or door guy = employee, but if no outside people are at the front door, and they're bilking 'non-upscale' people at will, that doesn't give the place a good name, and they may wanna know about this stuff.

Not trying to offend anyone but that place sucks. It's your typical wannabe gangsta gino bar where fights break out regularly. I happened to spend last new years there and had the worst time ever (I was out of there at 12:30am).
Not to mention the bouncers at the door think their hot shit, pfff!

the funny thing is that i heard so many good things about the place and i wanted to check it out for an hour. not pay 10 bucks.
seriously i would even understand 2 bucks or 5 bucks if i was going for the whole night.
