Avoid it!!!!
If you HAVE to get something like this at least go for the original DJX, it's a LOT better....seems as if yamaha realised they gave too much for a too low price and cut everything down on the DJXII.
Anyways, the DJX'es are not really something you'll come across in a semi-professional setup. They are beginners tools. If you are a beginner and you are not sure if producing is your thing, go for it. If you know you will want to expand you setup later....maybe you can better save on for something that will have more value in a more complete setup. Of course later on, the DJX still makes for a nice midi-controller. So what I'd do is listen to it in a shop before you decide.
Still, the DJXII/DJXIIB is a no-no! At least go for the "old" DJX!
Note: You have a PC, rite? otherwise you wouldn't be on the forums . Programs like Reason leave you better off than this yamaha thingy. Buy that instead.
