Japan Fest, Sept 24-25th, Stone Mountain Park 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days
I know a few people have asked Scott or I about Japan Fest this weekend so I thought I would make a thread. It's at Stone Mountain Park from 11-5 both days. If you have ever gone to a festival there it's in the same location they have events usually. Here are some things I would follow for coming.
* Bring Cash (for food and beer) They have Japanese food stands along with Aashi and Saporro Tents.
* They also have booths set up that you can buy some items.
* Wear comfee shoes and clothes
* If you want to sit in the field and watch the musical acts, bring a blanket
* CAR POOL, I can't stress this enough. It could take just an hour to get to the festival grounds from the Stone Mountain Main Gate
(if you know of another way in the park, perhaps take that)
Scott's dojo performs at 4/1600 to 5/1700 on Saturday. Scott says that he will be going on near the beginning of the hour so be there early.

For those interested in knowing what type of martial arts I train in, this will be a great opportunity. Fong will be there as well. I will be whooping Fong's ass. Fong will be whooping my ass. And then I think other dojomates are whooping my ass well. Come check out sword fights, stick fights, staff fights, spear fights, chain fights and of course, bare-knuckle japanese kickboxing.

Thanks for having us out Scott. I am glad that we could come and support you. I feel a lot safer picking a fight at the club now that I have seen what you can do! I really had a fun time, sick and all!
You are still a putz for not coming to hang with us after but I will let that slide because now I KNOW you can kick my ass!

Thanks for coming out guys and giving me much needed support Greg and Cynthia missed the Gator game for it! I'm glad they won! I promise I'll be out next time. LeeAnn will be posting pics from the event soon!
