im gonna record this mix again. i was listening to the recording of it earlier and there's some skippin/crackling all through it. it annoys the shit outa me! a dont know what caused it though cos it wasnt like that when i was mixin it

i used 2 vestax pdx2300 mk2 pros, an ecler nuo 5 and an iMac G5 to record (using Audacity).
iv got 2 tt200's, but i didnt use them.

Just listened to the mix in full from start to finish.
TOP MARKS for track selection and mixing. Many of my own personal favourites are in this set so that is always a good start .....
On the negative side I found the crackles unnerving in the beginning and the levels dont sound right on my monitors. Not enough treble present which could fix some of the muddiness and the bass particularly towards the end was far too present in those songs.
Would love to have a good clean copy of this one .

im still desprately tryin to sort out the levels and quality of the recordings, its a brand new computer so a dont have a clue what everythin on it does (& im meant 2 be a junior programmer )
anyway, hopefully il have a nice clean recording of this mix + a new one up by the end of the week.
