Whats your secret weapon?
This board has been pretty sparse on the pointless banter of late, so I though I might try to start some drivel.
So whats the one thing in your sonic arsenal that you do better than anything else? Got a signature sound or a particular sample that works a treat every time? A certian patch or synth that you use a lot?
I know producers arn't particularly good at talking themsleves up, but lets allow ourselves a little ego indulgence here for all our hard work. Cmon, give it up
Might be a good way to learn how other producers think too...
(note: ...supersaws dont count)
I'll start off...
In all of my tracks I try to squeeze in a talking synth. Just a synth patch of somesort that sounds like a vowel... usually an aah or ooh sound of some sort usually using formant filters or FM. Sometimes it doesnt quite come out like that in the final master but its just this thing I try to do. =)

Anything I touch turns into gold biatch...
Alright maybe not.. But I think my ability to screw with audio in different ways and incorporate them into my tracks is a plus for me. That and I tend to create "kick-arse arps" (so I've been told).

Strings!
Violas pwns0rz your box0rs!
Also I'm good att working with drumloops and tweaking the shiznitz out of 'em. I'm a "chopoholic". Not just drums though, love taking an improvised "thing" (recording street musicians, preferably violinists ;D) and turn it all into a melody.
