abletone live

Quick question about Ableton , I load smipler and load a sample why does it sound nothing like the real sample?

Like default it fucks with the sound and messing with the knobs i cant get it to sound normal again , some times i can but what a waste of time you load a sample then have to edit it to get it to sound like the origional sample.

bumping your topic four hours after you ask the question isn't going to get it answered any quicker, it's just going to annoy people (showing you have a decent grasp on the english language might help too).

visit the forum that Benjamin B linked - they have tons of answers there, and quite a few more experts. remember, if all else fails, rtfm.

Yea you guys act like i just post here so i can get a quick answer, i have read the ableton live forums and they have nothing about it i made a post with one reply , that guy has the same problem.

Its not the bpm thats the problem , basically if you dont have ableton live you wont beable to answer this question obviously. And for the english comment , well thanks mr.english but no thanks you knew what i ment whats the big deal if i spelt a word wrong. Dont go out of your way to be a dick.

Basically - I am in the folder brake down on the left side and find a bass sample i would like to use, click it and it play's the sample good sounds great. Load it into simpler and it changes the envelope , decay and release of the sample. Just doesnt make sence to edit the samples parimeters right when simpler loads it. Then i need to mess asdr for awhile befor i get it sounding right usually the pitch is quite messed also.

Is there a way for simpler not to edit the sample once it loads it?

Sorry Ripper, some people around here patrol for posts that they can make themselves seem cool in.

Anyways, try goin through some of simplers presets. I don't usually use simpler, but I'm thinking it might load up with some funky envelope, as you said. There may be a preset to suit your needs.

EDIT: Ok i just loaded up live and tossed a bass sample into simpler.... sounds exactly the same?
