[Prog/Psy] Cybernetika - Through Ages (192 kbps, full)

Heya,
here is my newest tune called "Through Ages" which features an extremely trippy and melodic mix of Psy and Prog... I've spent lots of time on mastering and finalizing the tune and I think the effort pays off.

Title: Through Ages
Length: 11:25
Bitrate: 192 kbps
Filesize: ~15.5 MB

The link:
Download Cybernetika - Through Ages

Enjoy, feedback appreciated

Pro:
- some cool gated synth sounds
- cool eerie pads
- cool layering of the melodies

Con:
- too long
- a key change somewhere... anywhere... would've been nice
- doesn't maintain interest

Don't take it too harshly... you have to keep in mind that Psy really isn't my thing. I'm sure there are others on here that will love it. I think I was just expecting something else when you said "extremely trippy and melodic". It's trippy, but not so sure about the latter.

Levels and everything sounded pretty good through my crap headphones. Keep on doin' ya thang!

very clean goa/progressive psy
very sharp sounds you've got m8
good job on balancing, except that the high end of the sound spectrum dosent look like its fully filled, however it may be because your percs arent that crisp and clear which is a standard in progressive psy and these low bpm rates.

i like your track, its chilly and pro made, i dont even believe my ears that its been made in fruity, it sounds like a hardware, well done!
this can be released for sure, and i bet you any label would want this one the next various artists album compilation.
incredible quality.

Nice work Lars! Love this track. I could so trip out to this in a morning set.

Everything feels very solid and well mastered. Bass kick combo is very solid. Synth programming is top notch too. The evolving soundscapes in the background are subtle but work really well. Its is a very dark and evocative sound you've managed to create. You certianly put a lot of time into this one, infact the track really feels like its taking you on a journey.

The track structure is pretty much flawless in my opinion for this type of track. Progression is well maintained at the start and the change around the 6 minute mark works really well. The only thing is I was wanting a bit more synth action between 7.20 and 8.20. Pretty minor thing really.

Its a huge departure from your darker goa style stuff. Been waiting for you to do something outside of your comfort zone for a while now and this definately hits the spot.

This could easily make it onto a prog compilation... send it out!!

Heya mate,

I enjoyed the intro to this tune. The pads give a great ambiance & set-up a dark dreamy atmosphere.

This is a quality production. It is clean, has flawless progression & a great sellection of sounds. The track may go for a long 11 minutes, but honestly I didnt notice the track length too much as I was consumed by the journey; The track layout does exactly what it needs to do & spraws across the 11 minutes seemlessly to a perfect ending.

I did not feel the same as Axolotyl. I dont think it requires anymore elevation or synth action, I was quite happy with the subtle route the track was taking.

If anything I would change the synth that comes in at 9:17, or lower it a bit as it is a bit loud. Also the hihats are a bit mono & they don't change right through the song.

Really good work Lars!
