ah, now it works... seems like there were some technical problems with soundclick... sometimes it's a bitch
so now commenting as I listen.
indeed kinda minimal. Probably a bit too minimal for my taste, but each to their own.
The bassline is maybe a little simple, but the tune has got a warm, well saturated bottom.
Some nice acid sounds. This is very raw and I like that.
I think you need to improve your percussion. It's not that exciting. Try to replace some of your perc sounds with fatter ones. Maybe layer some sounds with others, or try to use a bitcrusher plugin on some percussive elements, as well as reverb or delay.
You make good use of the stereo range!
The overdrive FX on the acidline in the end get nice. Some sweet FX there too.
You definately got the ideas, you now need to make your synths sound a little more professional. Apply some FX such as a Gate/Delay/Reverb/Phaser/Flanger/etc. Maybe use a compressor and dare to use more layers (even for a minimal tune this is kinda thin).
hey cy... thx for the review, the bassline is a 3osc 'verbed and bassed, acidline is a 3osc with overdrive and 7 band eq. one of the other 2 instruments are midi pluck (Plucked!) pitched down, bassed, 'verbed, echoed, filtered and, phased. and a chopped up Plucked! plugin for the other, also overdrived...
anyway, see you later
