try Boomtown, and futuristic flavour. The Virgin Mage Store also has a massive record section downstairs, i buy most my records from virgin. all the store are within walking distance from bassix

i think everyone knows where virgin is. i went to FF this past week. little did i know, i've actually been there before. just never cared for what the store was called. lol
bassix is cool. so my question now is, where is boomtown?
boomtown is on burrard, about a block or two up on the right-hand side as you get off the bridge. right before the toyota dealership, across from commercial electronics.
that's your best bet in vancouver, imo. i guess virgin is ok for big releases, but bassix is kinda useless (i havent been there in MONTHS) and ff is so-so (not bad)
i buy maybe 10% of my vinyl in vancouver record shops.

i never go to anywhere but virgin anymore. Paying 20 bux for a record is just wrong. Virgin is always cheaper. Otherwise i just order off the net.

What I don't like about Virgin is that you have to know what you are looking for when you shop there. I personally like to find records I have never heard of by people I have never heard of.
