Whatever else you can say about Michael Jackson, he’s rarely out of the spotlight and his life is never dull.
Take two new controversies that have popped up surrounding the always controversial singer.
His ex-wife, Debbie Rowe, has told an Irish newspaper what many had long pondered. She contends Jackson isn’t the real father of their two children.
Rowe claims the two kids were conceived using sperm donors, and that she has no idea who the real dads are. But she insists she knows who it isn’t – and that’s Jackson himself.
"Michael knows the truth - that he is not the natural father of Prince Michael Jr. and Paris. He has to come clean", she tells The Sunday World.
"I have no information whatsoever about the identity of the semen donor for either child. As such (semen) was obtained anonymously from a semen bank under an agreement of confidentiality."
Jackson’s people haven’t commented on the allegation, expect to note Rowe is upset that her ex has restricted her access to the kids, and has reason to be bitter about it.
And while that tempest is brewing, an even bigger storm cloud may yet land the singer back in court.
Cops in California are said to be investigating the King of Pop over contentions he has a 40-pill-a-day drug habit, which he may have obtained using false prescriptions.
Police maintain they found a stash of anti-depressants and painkillers when they searched the entertainer’s Neverland Ranch prior to his trial for child molestation.
He was acquitted in that infamous case, but the evidence cops found could land him in new legal hot water.
Santa Barbara prosecutor Thomas Sneddon, who unsuccessfully went after Jackson in several child molestation cases, is now said to be trying to figure out where Jackson got the drugs – and if he used false prescriptions, he could be charged.
Critics contend Sneddon has a vendetta against Jackson and will stop at nothing to get him – even if the allegations aren’t true.
Whatever happens, it may be hard for the state of California to ever actually get the singer into one of its courtrooms again.
Jackson has recently ‘moved’ to Bahrain in the Middle East, and there have been frequent reports he plans to make that his new home.
