Mike Lord- An Energy Junky!
Mike Lord has taken an interest in music since his early childhood where he played both violin and piano from the age of six. His early influences of electronic music include the Chemical Brothers, Future Sounds of London, Orbital, Astral Projection & Infected Mushroom.
He was first introduced to Trance in 1999 and became attached because at its core he sees strong classical melodies and orchestration similar to his upbringing, classical music. Mike Lord believes that the roots of today’s trance music can be traced by to theories of Baroque classical music, in that it must express emotion and move the listener.
His first experience as a DJ was in 2002 and he has not stopped spinning ever since. His sound is ever evolving and makes it a point not to restrict himself to one genre or style. Mike Lord's ability to play a wide range of sound is sure to pound the dance floor and please the mind.
Mike Lord can DJ in the styles of Progressive House, Tech House, Electro House, Tribal House, Epic Trance, Progressive Trance, Tech Trance.
