Opens tommorow. I'm excited about seeing it. Anyone else?
I figured PDD would be more appropriate for this, since its a political thriller.

Just saw Syriana, it sucks! Don’t go watch that movie if you haven’t already. Its just nice to look at because there is some nice shots and capitivating (but annoying) cinemetography (because the camera moves around too much like in the Bourne identity).
The real failure is the plot (is there one?), not that I disagree with it or it makes me made or anything but it simply makes no sense.
There are about three/four different plot stories throughout the movies none of them connect, and some of them aren't even understood
For instance:
**SPOILERISH*** Why do those kids ram the tanker? I mean I get the whole suicide bomber thing, but why that target??? **END SPIOLERISH***
In all just a silly movie, I think they are trying to say that Oil makes us keep the status quo but I'm not sure...

spoiler spoiler spoiler
the anti-US emir who was preparing a coup got killed and at the same time, or almost, which might look as a retaliation (but wasn't, more like a coincidence) was the attack to the tanker.
tanker = oil = US intrests = destabilize the region
