[ darktech ] Takkra - Amstel Rush
underground alcohol influence... lala
nothing much to say, but there's good porn on the tv..
oyea how do I master something good.. by the way drink shitloads of beer and turn up the volume for a good effect
thanks dj_palm for your advice
-begining sounds far too simple (sounds like there's only one synth playing)
-melody sounds too simplistic as well
-lacking a proper intro
-overall needs more atmospheric effects in the background
Overall I think it's got potential, but it needs some patching up first. It just sounds too empty right now. With some improvement, I could see this being a pretty badass techno track.

Freaky, but that's all it is to my taste. Your pitch shifter seems to be glitching, don't know a solution for that one. Got I hate this melody, gives me flashbacks to my dark and distant gabber years.
Music is as universal to people as breathing. We've probably been at it since before we even started talking. Immaging two cavemen smashing away at a peace of flint to make a spearhead. It wouldn't take long for them to learn te synchronise the sound. And there you have it, the words first percussive band.
Music has survived wars, famines, the plague and many other things and has evolved with man across many cultures. Dance music is just the next step in the evolutionary chain. My guess is that it will probably be with us untill we are extinced.

dark... nice breakbeats, kick needs more punch. As mentioned before, it's a bit too simple, and i am hearing some glitches somewhere. i don't know if this is intentional or not.
around 1:50 i was expecting some big mainsection or climax after that intense build but i didn't get anything seemed very anticlimatic.
work on filling this track out, giving it depth. i like dark feel to it. good luck!
Been a while since I've been around here and a while since I listened to one of your tracks so was looking forward to this.
Firstly, likeing the title hehe
Woah the darkness is great, great intro in my opinion, you've got that nailed for sure.
The breaks are sweet when they come in too, more punch as has been mentioned needs a little punch. All sounding great, quite trippy which is awesome.
Been a while since I've heard one of your tracks so you've improved a lot and this is sounding good to me, keep it up!
ps. If you want to hear something from me again as it has been a while, one of my tracks is in the forum
Cheers.

hey takkra..
bump!
anyways.. this sounds a lot better than your previous work!
it sounds very nearly complete. good overall full sound..
i can almost hear something similar to dj palms work.. not sure but the way the drive works is similar..
your kick is nice and all the sounds are very original. id get this as good as you can without any comp/eq/limiting applied to the final mixdown and then pass it over to a pro for mastering..? i love the way every track you have posted over the last few months have got better and better. i think you should produce drunk more often!
great work buddy.. i liked it all!
rich
ps have a listen to my latest thread (klems vs liloo rmx) tell me what you think..
