That's the deal with inexpensive decks, unfortunately. I had TT-200's and had the same issues, you have it beatmatched nicely, you cue it up and then it all goes to hell.
Truth is, this still happens with Technics, just much less. TT's are mechanical devices and their rotational speed can be affected by many different factors.
If you learn to ride the pitch with your 1625's and can mix pretty well with them, when you get Technics you'll be an expert!
