well school taught me about colonialism and i don't think it's something we should be proud but what i learnt is that we were when we did it one of the most powerful european country in the world same than UK or spain well i dunno none of my teacher ever said colonialism was a great thing .....

yes well Western culture is more than happy to accept influences from other cultures as long as the other cultures willingly assimilate themselves into ours but by god don't try to get us to assimulate into yours
