How long does it take for a nap to be... not considered a nap?

If you brush your teeth before and after the sleep, then it's not a nap. Any sleep without teeth brushage could be considered nappage.

What about time of day? If it's 4 in the morning, and one gets some rest and wakes up at 6 to go to work, is that a 2 hour nap? Or did he/she only get 2 hours of sleep?
