What up guys, just wanted to share with you my latest track, it is still unmastered and eq'd so quality doesn't sound top notch yet.
But any comments both good/bad are appreciated!
ah what a bangin intro percs... I really had high hopes, but i was somewhat let down after about 6min of repetition... I think this track has wicked potential, but you need to do a bit more with the basslines/melodic progressions. pads/atmosphere/theme? this is what i feel is lacking. its not far from being there, but needs something... Technically this sounds great, and balanced... i hear no distortion and the base is there for some wicked proggressive grooves. I suggest you don't stop there and keep on working on this, it looses energy/interest after about 2min, but then starts some kind of build- but goes nowhere...
hope you find your inspiration, catalin.

thats some great feedback...thanx for such a detailed explanation.
I'll definetely look into a little change throughout the song
I really liked this mix, The percussion is great and very detailed, however, the whole mix seems to be a bit piercing on the ears, although that might be the quality of the mp3 or my headphones. All in all though... great work m8

The percs are a bit shrill. Tone it down on your EQing.
2:17 I've got something that sounds like a melody, but it's way down in the mix. Why's this? Bring it up a bit, please.
I gotta go with iloop on the repetitiveness, especially in the intro. It seems to go long stretches without doing much. Maybe make the percs a bit more variable.
I concur with the rest, I think all the sugesstiong they gave u are very easy to fix, u have a solid structure, build up, the only thing u need is to add an interesting melodie and to make some variation over it so all the minimalym gets fixed .
Looking forward for the final version .
Kopi =o.

Nice kick and percussion, effects are well layed too. The hi end is a bit piercing personally in the mastering here... Liking the feel to the track, synth bass and stuff is well suited. imo maybe a bit more perc in the breakup to keep the drive going... possibly more elements here too, not too much, something simple sounding which would suite the track great.
Nice breakdown, pads, elements are good. Wired kick in, i like it. Good stuff, a keeper for me. Keep it up.

thank you all very much for your input, i will def make the necessary changes!
adding a little variation after the break seems to be brought up quite a bit so i'll work on that.
