Question pio efx 500+numark dxm06 question

just curious but does anybody know i will be able to use the efx 500 with the numark? i have no clue about hooking the efx 500 up...and im sure somebody can give me some info about that. dont want to dish out the cash and find out it doesnt work.

Depends. You could connect the efx between the mixer and the amp but then ofcourse it will only effect the master.
If you want it to work properly you need a mixer with send/recive.

As tommy mentioned, you'll only be able to use the effects on the master, not on separate channels since that mixer does not have any send/return - fortunately though you have the most common effects on the DXM06 mixer which allows you to use those effects to any desired channel...

if the mixer has send/return, you can hook up the efx, and then select the effects for separate channels, and not only the master?

Correct. As long as you aren't mixing two tracks you'll be fine with sending the effects through the master, since it only effects one track, but when you are mixing and you're bringing a track out, and lets say that you for instance want to add a delay or echo on it, then you don't want it to echo the other track as well. Sometimes it can give you a nice effect - but you'd rather want it to apply only one of tracks for most of the times...
