CD Feedback

There are some CDs that I've been checking and I'm kinda interested in. But... I'd like to know if any of you have listened to the CDs listed below and what are your thoughts/comments/opinions?
Yay or Nay?

Ben Watt

Chris Fortier

Chus & Ceballos

Above & Beyond

Thank you, very much appreciated!

Balance 007 is really proggy, you'd probably think it sucks.

Utilities is great, a good solid 2CD of glitchy techy acidy house that James did some great work on. CD2 has his scratching and efx use, its great!

Miami 05 was ok, nothing special, Without You Near sucked ass.

The Chus & Ceballos cd I havn't heard but they are great...

I heard Creamfields by Ferry fucking rocks, I was gonna buy it myself. CD1 is house, CD2 is trance...wikked.

CDs you should consider:

Desyn Masiello Balance 008
John Digweed Fabric 20 (if you havnt got it)
the new J00F White Label Republic
Si-Fi-Hi-Fi by Ewan Pearson

and the new James Holden CD should be out soon.

Miami 05' LOVE IT!

With out you Near: LOVE IT! This album was not ment to chuck full of Club Anthems but more to showcase Markus as a Producer and Artist. And it does just that. Starts off The Clear Blue and ends with With Out You Near(reprise) There is a mix of Breaks, Ambit, Trance and Progressive all one album.
There are a Few Tracks on there that stand out.
Won't see me Cry 2005- This Track shows where Markus has gone with his sound since the first one came out in Armin's BOI. His First production had a more "Trancy" feel to it. Markus went back to the Studio worked on it for 3 months and now it has the darker coldharbour feel to it. Simply amazing!

With out you near( Reprise) No one can really arrgue that this is one of the maga dance tunes of 2005. But there was always an aggrument oh who did what with the track since Markus, G&D and Departure all got involved. In this verison of the track you can hear who did what. G&D the bass lines, Markus with the Meloidy and Depature with the Vocals.
I also really like the coldharbor edit of this track also on the album.

Never Be the Same- When I first heard this track my mouth fell to the ground. I could not belive my ears and had to hear it again. Carrie Stippers voice is amazing and bass and the sounds behind her add more power to this emotional tune. This Track touches my heart and soul and was one of my top tracks for 2005

Ferry Corsten Creamfilds- Love this one too!
