Steven Schafer - First Recorded Mix - Feedback Wanted
Alright guys this is my first ever recorded mix. I've been spinning for about 1 month. Im not trying to really promote myself yet, the point of this thread is to get feedback from the more experienced members on how I can improve.
The first three tracks are trance and the last three are just pop stuff. I just sort of chose which tracks to mix as I went.
Anyways, The mix is 34:08 long. Here's the tracklist:
1. BT - The Technology EP - Force of Gravity - Tiesto Remix
2. Paul Van Dyk Ft. Second Sun - Crush - PVD Remix
3. Lange Ft. Leah - Dont think (FEEL IT) - Shane 54 remix
4. Rokysopp - 49 Percent - Angello & Ingrosso remix
5. NIN - Photek Remixes - The hand that feeds - straight mix
6. Zhark - Zym0siz - Shift

Nice, but try to find some "hard to find" tracks. It's much easier to drag someone attention. It's OK as for the first mix.

you can hear that it is your first mix
it's ok for your first mix but:
1. Improvements
-Work on equing! 2/10
-Phasing needs some training. 4/10 (but not bad for a beginner)
-Your set structure needs a total renewing; 3/10
you have to get harder at the end, and increase the level of energy. like a buildup in your set.
When your changing the style, in your set it was trance to house,
you should do this smooth. go slowly from tranceish to more houseish tracks; don't do this abrutly! (and as i said, try to keep a buildup in your set; it should grow into a higher level of energy!)
-That strange pitching thing at 26:36 sounds like *crap*! You can't do your transitions like that! (was that a transition at all?)
transitions: 2/10
that makes:
2.75/10
just practise, practise, practise!
Peace

oh... I think DJ Subnautic was a little bit too harsh.
It's a decent mix.
