the years are brief
so little to enjoy
still fresh on our faces
then gone all awry

forget past troubles
leave them behind
you can't stay supple
with fragments in your mind

follow that dream..or vow

check one off from that list
of things to do before you die

before the end of this year
this year of the dog
do something from that list
like me. I'm gonna eat a dog.

of doggy shit.
