Not to sound like an egomaniac but cd3 hard trance set stopped being hard trance after my track. It changed to uplifting epic trance after that and stayed that way for the remainder of the mix. Not that it's a bad thing, but for your true hard trance addict he/she may be disappointed at the ending. Though, for somebody who likes a great party set then this one's for you. Isoterra is an exception. Even though the track was tech trance it fit perfectly and was a great pick me up. I also liked Ian's intro track, great opener. A real attention grabber. Overall I really like turnout for this set. Much props to all the dj's involved.

Opener was indeed a stormer.

I'm now deciding what to do for CD4...

This is all I have of the tracklist, other DJs can add their track or Pyslo or Belgian or who ever is making the covers can post the full tracklist.

I thought it turned out pretty well guys. Nice energetic and epic trance. Some of the tunes I thought were a bit out of place.

First three tracks are very good and nicely build on eachother.

I agree with Isoterra about Freezzz's track, just kinda drops the ball as the mix was quickly gaining energy at that point and that track was a very mellow tune imo. Isoterra's tune is one of my favorite tunes atm but I thought it didn't blend too well with the previous tune. I realize Isoterra probably was itching to get a harder track in there but i think the track was too different.

vA|sYn[D]rOm did a good job with his track which blended nicely with the previous tune and had a good'n'deep bass feel.

Tricky's track was good but it sounded almost like a rip from a live set from Qlimax or something, lol. i think you guys already discussed the quality issue.

Stevieboy's track was a very good choice as it plays off the previous well and builds the energy nicely.

Psylo's track is quite differen't and sounds cool. The oldschool sound was pretty cool and I personally liked it as an addition but I'm not sure the average listener will like the break in style.

Evelon's track was actually a very good choice to blend with the previous track. personally i'm not a fan of the song but i think it translated well with the mix at that point. the quality seemed to be lacking a bit here as well though.

I agree again with Isoterra that my track could have been harder. i guess i was going for more epic trance as the mix was getting to the peak and i was hoping my track would open it up to get very epic. i am not the most familiar with hard trance and i guess i had a bit different idea of where to take the mix.

Belgian's track was very well chosen melodic and energy wise. good work here.

Rockabye's track didn't take to me too well. Overall a good finisher but it's vocals and begining parts turned my off personally.


Those are mostly just my critisisms. There is a lot i liked about the mix and really I thought each dj did very well with their additions. Overall a very enjoyable and impressive compilation. I really like the fact that 13 differen't djs took part in this.

metatron: to be honest i thought your track would have fitted perfectly if only it had a harder kick/bassline to it. i think in terms of the melody it followed on really well from 'believe', just seemed to have no drive behind it


still though, even though the set isn't perfect i still really like it, just for it's novel value; 13 different musical heads coming together to output one final product. i'll definitely be up for the next one again
