can any ppl near detroit, mi help me out on this one...
i live about 30 min from detroit. im looking for some underground raves or something of that nature. the scene here isnt very good, and noooo dj's ever come here, except for digweed came to a well known club a few months back. but thats it. cany anyone help me out on dates. or where to go to get info?

I am not from Detroit, but I have played there a few times (at Clutch, the night before Diggers played) I know of one website that deals with club nights (www.detroitclubscene.com) You might want to go on there and ask around about underground events.
It sucks bigtime that you guys can only go until 2 am...blah!

Hey man,
Nice to see another Detroit party kid on board. I lived in Detroit (well, at least near there, no one really lives in Detroit) for the past 7 years before I moved back to Asia. I can tell you that Trance is pretty much DEAD in Detroit. It got killed by House Music revolution from Chicago, and definitely got killed by Jungle. As far back as I can remember, all the kids I used to party with are all junglists. BUT! There's still the good ol' Motor in Hamtramck which Paul Oakenfold and Frankie Bones are resident DJs off (even though they only come like 2x a year max). I also heard that Nectarine's in Ann Arbor has now switched to a trance (albeit more euro-cheesy dance than trance) club.
Never fear. It's around, u just gotta know where to find it.
