So I notice I've been going a little deaf with constantly being exposed to loud music. Any reccomendations on ear plugs and what decibel level they should be at?

there was a thread about this pretty recently. I ended up buying a pair of ear plugs from etymotic, the ER20s, which alot of TAs apparently use. shipped to my house in two days.
you can spend all that money on those special earplugs but the foam ones i have no problem with. i can still hear everything + there next to nothing.

Music is a powerful energy that flows though us. It's what brings us together. You forget of all of life's problem's and focus on the moment. The now. Nothing else matters but the way you feel and the movement of your body. It's an expression of the soul.

As most of you know, I sweat a lot (hence the towel).
I find that the foam ear plugs sometimes pop out of my ear. Dan, you bob your head around a lot when you dance--have you ever had problems keeping these hi-tech puppies in your ear?

I use ER25's they are custom fit. Not cheap, but completely worth it. Gotta keep your hearing in tact, once you mess it up, you can't fix it, and I never wanna stop hearing music.

I'll probably have some for BeB, just for use in areas where speakers are piercingly brutal. So it depends where I'm standing (or dancing) at the time. Otherwise, I'll mostly have them out.

Once I took a piss in front of everybody at Stereo. Put the garbage under the mixer, and did it right there while people were dancing and screaming. people thought I was playing with the mixer but I was playing with my zizi.

I'm glad that theres a listen up canada about to open in my city. I'm hoping to go there and get a hearing test, just to check stuff out, and also to get custom fitted (eventually) for some musician ear plugs ($150 - $200 roughly I think)
