sounds ok. there's some mastering issues that has to be dealt with asap (bass especially). otherwise, i'm sorry to say, i found it kinda boring. not because there's not much happening (i listen to minimal, so i know what 'not much happening' means) but because there's either no real drive or the hook isn't good/big enough. so, that's all i can think of

You have some good sounds going on in this. The bass is definately overpowering. I think that you need to add a lot of percs in this and make the bass a little more intricate. Some pads would be nice as well. I think that your on the right track though considering you've only been producing for two months. Good luck with this.

Andy

btw could you check out my SvD remix?

Hey,
At first sight all sounds too dry with the drums and centered, the bass needs work also as someone else mentioned, I would use it without that low tone,.
I would sugesst you to play more with the panoramics and with the effects, to add more variation because right now the tune it is pretty hard to eat, also it needs too much more background drums, I only hear a basic drum set, kick, hats, etc.
In overall, for to have 2 months producing I can say you are in the path, it sounds really basic and amateur, but you have already the idea, the only thing you need it's more time, and to listen to alot of music, analize it, listen the structure, how they do the transitions, the build up, when they add crashes, what effects they use, etc etc etc.
Good luck .
Kopi =o.

you've got a nice thing going on.

needs beefed up alot.

alot of elements need added

that kick needs to be pumpin for a techy track, try and layer kicks on top of one another i find it makes it really drivin.

get some panning fx going on to widen the track and fill the space.

nice basis to start from tho!

cheers guys

im using logic, i know what you guys mean with the panning.I was told about this today by my tutor.Kinda gives the track more room by having certain things less centered? panned to left or right?

He went over using automation more aswell, really loving this. Its the first time i started using automation today, started messing around with the channel EQ having it start at the low end and build up into the bypass state.

Keep it coming guys.thanks a million for your time! all this advice is going onboard! im back in the stuido tommorow carnt wait
