The percs and clap all sound really tight. I like the scrapy metallic thing at .40. That heavily filtered clicking at 1.10 is very, very cool. The bass is good. The whole thing is very solid. I would call it some sort of psy. I really like it so far. I don't quite like the arp at the break, but I love the one sound over top (not the bell the other one). I would love to hear the whole thing. But I enjoyed it. All the sounds blended well, and it sounded rich and fairly mastered on my system.

I don't like the kick. All the other sounds are really cool. It sounds like there is too much low end to me, but I'm not totally sure. Try rolling off 35hz because it seems there's too much going on in those frequencies. It definitely has somewhat of a psy trance feel to it with those sounds. It reminds me a little bit of Shpongle. The bass sounds pretty good. I thought at 1:25 something was going to happen, but nothing was added. I think it takes too long to pick up without adding anymore elements. The arp doesn't do it for me at all. Change up the notes a little more to add some creativity behind it. I'm assuming you're trailing off at the beginning of the buildup section so that's the end of my comments.

interesting about the kick. ill have a look at that and see what i can do about it.

i used that arp to try and keep it trancy as i thought it was going quite electro once i introduced the guitar bass.

cheers guys!

Hey,
commenting as I listen.

The swirl sound sounds a little sharp, but ok. The sound itself is nice.
The kick is pretty massive compared to the rest. Dont know if this was your intention, but in my opinion it could do with a little bit less oomph.
Solid bass. I like the low frequencies in this track.
1:30 ... nice groove to the track. I like the layers of percussion and the small bits of melodies. The FX are very nice. The kick keeps this one banging very well here.
The melody in the breakdown is not too much my cup of tea. Doesnt sound so great IMO.

Good one, I liked the drive of kick, bass and percussion, and you got some good FX too.
Keep it up dude, I think there is a lot of potential in this tune

The most have already been said pretty much.
But I have to say I like the percs and fx.
I would really like to hear more of it...

Hey barry

YOu have a great groove going on here , and I do like the kick, and it works well with the hi-hats. Bassline is driving, and you have some nice background FX. Nice arp coming in here as well I can hear.
This is your best yet barry, you are improving without doubt mate!

I concur pretty much with Cyber in almost all, also I dont liked the work over the bass, it has too much reverb though, but it sounds too wide.
I personally would use a deeper kick, to give more deepness to the tune, to work more with the panoramics and maybe to add a loop in the background to give more presence to the drums, the rest is pretty good, nice athmoshpere.
Kopi =o.

i like the kick.

percs are nice and low key so dont stand out too much so the track has a nice relaxed feel.

offbeat kick. this is nice. sounds good. i like the reverb.

this overall is sounding clean and well balanced imo. the kick punches nicely

break - this sounds great. i like the notation of the bass. and your flute sound is cool!

sample ends

i look forward to where you go with this. i feel a melody that mirrors the bass in the break (but one octave higher) would work well

nice work barry- i think this has potential to be a track i would enjoy a great deal..

rich
