Hey. Its been a long while since I have posted anything here. I figured I would give a sneak peek at the type of stuff to expect on my album due out at the end of this year. I havent been given a lot of criticism other than adding in some more FX and was hoping to get some more ideas. The vocals should be replaced by a female singer sometime in the near future and there will of course be more lyrics.
Hey man, been a while since i heard anything new from you.
this is sounding really good so far. there's quite a bit of ducking going on here, a little much for my taste. it seems like pretty much every non-percussive element is doing the same ducking pattern. it's most annoying on the pads imo, i'd suggest at least making it less intense. that bass sound is fantastic, but that progression seems really strange for some reason. too much movement. i like the first two notes and then it starts hopping around.
those things aside its a really solid production. youre definitely improving quite a bit.

Hey DarkSword,
You probably got enough feedback from me, but just to put it into writing...
Again, the beginning atmosphere is fantastic. Develops the progressive and surreal feel very well. I wish you would continue it throughout the song. The bassline's progression again seems to go all over the place, but that's just taste. The synth is definitely phat though.
Very dreamy, but I'm more of a uplifting guy. I'd expect like a more elaborate melody and more pulsating few and rhythms, but this definitely does work. Fits a good chillout set.
To make this kick ass, throw in some extra instruments. The pads get a little overdone near the end of the sample. So yeah.
Hope this helped, mate!
Oh and remember to check for my FLP :-D

Really nice atmosphere you create from the beginning... can´t write too much because i simply like the actual track...
---> After 3:00 imo there should be added some more "kicking"/driving elements.
Think, it definitely would be very nice with female vocals...
cheers

Loving those synths mate. I like the way they bob, carries the track along nicely :P
Nice voice at 2:52, that effect that makes it go higher pitched is cool.
Some female vox would indeed improve, but it isnt necessary. Maybe extend it and add some melodic hook?
Good stuff :P

The proggy side of trance is really growing on me.
I like the side-chain on the intro pad. Did you use the FL peak-controller for that effect?
The bassline is fudgy alongside that kick, but it works almost like an 80s synth.
I get the feeling that the "ducking" with the pad is a little much after the bassline kicks in. I can't put a finger on it, but maybe if it was just quieter overall and less noticreably on the dips.

Hello,
This is very good, I really like the athmosphere, for sure some female vocals would kick ass on this one, I concur about more kick driving in the second part and about the pads, I would boost a lil bit the highs, it sounds a bit muddy for my taste, other than that this is pretty nice, keep it up u are improving urself Zac.
Btw, would you mind to take a listen to my tune also .
