This topic has been done to death. Ferry Corsten's remix is the best, Tiesto's is not. And if vocals are your thing, either the Brainbug or Perfecto remixes of Skip Raiders - Another Day are wonderful but often overlooked alternatives.

Do some fecking research. It was composed by Samuel Barber in the 1930s, and William Orbit covered it for his 1999 album Pieces in a Modern Style, and it was Orbit's version that saw the first trance remixes.
I think the original tops them all. There is no original recording as it's classical, but I like it on strings the most, even though the choral version is ace too. The trance mixes are far too heavy handed.
