| quote: | First spinning at the Wag CLub back in 1992 it was not long before he was offered a residence at the Limelight Club in London warming up for the likes of Phil Perry & X-Press 2 (Rocky & Diesel). From then on Scott became a regular on the London Club Scene playing at parties such as Naked Lunch, Art,Fubar and the Gass Club.
It was at the Gass that Scott really earned his stripes playing alongside DJ's Dave Dorrell, Paul Oakenfold, Nancy Noise and a soon to be massive Judge Jules. It wasnt just the warm up slots for Scott any more, playing tracks such as Leftfield's 'Not Forgotten' and 'Intoxication' on the Guerilla Label he had them exactly where he wanted them.
The years that followed saw clubs like UK, Leisure Loungs, Ministry (Best of British), Clockwork Orange all come into play, although Scott played regularly at these nights he decided to make a move to Europe and found himself resident DJ at the Escape Theatre in Amsterdam playing at the after hour power parties that are legendary in and around Holland.
Soon becoming one of Hollands A-list and best known DJ's and a regular at clubs such as The IT and Asta alongside Jean Dimitry, Marcello, Eric E and he still continues to play regularly in Holland and all over the world. Someone from here doing very well over there!
Moving into production was very natural for Scott. Producing his first track S.D.J along with a young Jon Nelson and a bloke called Pete Lazonby, the bug had well and truly been caught. Scott went on to produce for labels such as Outland, Spiritual, Low Pressings, Jinx, 2Play, Vinyl Inside, Spot on, Wax, Southeast Recordings.
Remixes have included Natural Born Grooves (Forerunner / Universal Love), Polaris, L.A.C., Bleep n Booster and the Happy Clappers. More recently Scott has co-produced with Signum, Mac Zimms, Perpetual Motion and Drax.
Future projects include a new deal with Edel, one of Europes biggest and established label and remixes for Southeast Recordings, Spot On, ATCR, Low Pressings and Black Hole Recordings. |
