anything works, there are no rules.id get something else tho, i use it for hiphop stuff, but im sure you can do whatever you want with it. i havnt even attempted to program any patches cause it looks so complicated, the presets are really good. i dont recommend it for pads/leads/arps unless you want a diffrent sound. so if you want a more typical sound thennnnnnnnnnnnnnn no i guess.

Hmmm I was planning on using it for bassses, but it was too much to pay just for that.

That is one complicated program - you have so many choices in terms of routing (internal and ptach cords) that if you aren't very well versed in synthesis theory, forget it.

It's a real synthesizer, what do you expect?

That said it's a monster and if you learn it you will be producing sounds like no other..

daaaang... just downloaded the demos of minimoog V, arp2600, and moog modular, threw them all in a new ableton set, fooled around a bit, and came up with _this_ in a couple hours.

okay, at least one of these is gonna be my next purchase, and I'm brushing up on my synth programming...

This synth is beyond sick, AND it makes the most badass analogue bass you'll ever hear!

if you want to be unique and different than the norm then take the time and learn synthesis and music theory and learn the moog

any synth you can make trance with

but if you want to be typical then just use a virus
