kicking, like the layout

like the arped synth would like to see it rise up an octave during the breakdown to give some suspension in the track

i like it although it feels like somethings missing. you need something thats going to grab the listener like that track new dawn does.

This is a nice tune m8. Brings me back to what originally got me into trance and electronica.

this sounds quite cool.

i like the rawness of the sound. some of the the synths sound cheap in a nice way. while others back up the sound.

the overall sound lacks a nice big bass to complement the kick imo.

i think a slower and deeper kick would work better. one that drones a bit.

this got me bopping my head but needs work on the overall sound. i like your melodies. they are emotional.

break- this sounds great. -

i think the track would sound better and more sophisticated if it did not have the 'offbeat' synth that plays as the main melody. id instead make it long notes. so the track is less bouncy and more sophisticated..

good work is the main comment ill make tho.

This would be hard to mix in because of the short intro.

Listening to this, there is some really deep bass, but there seems to be a lack of mid-low bass. That whole part of the spectrum feels very empty in this track. The bass itself seems a bit too persistent, and the straight oom-pah oom-pah of it feels a bit dated. Kinda like a late 90s trance tune.

The melody is cute. I like the breakdown. You've got those fake pizzicado string things in their that remind me of Faithless - Insomnia and the like. Very 90s-ish.

The breakdown is kinda long... now at 4:20 a melody comes in. But it came out of nowhere... I wasn't expecting it. Maybe if you filtered it in over a few bars it would make your breakdown less boring and give a bit more excitement to the build-up.

The pads are nice. Overall this track is OK... it's a bit simple for modern trance music... sounds too much like a 1998 tune. I guess for some, that's a good thing. For me, there's just nothing special about it.

Hey...

The sounds which you use in the track are imo too generic, totally normal trance sounds. The pads and pizzicatos are nice and stand out from the mass of sounds. For example the TB303-sound could be changed to something more original. The melody is nice but as said not very original. The bass could have more higher frequencies, now it gets a bit lost in the mix. Some percussions or a little loop running beside the beat could add some drive to the track.

You´ve clearly got better at producing but it´s really important to try to find original melodies and sounds... there´s so much trance out there. Most of the really great tracks have some original element which makes them stand out from the masses.

Cheers, Lakeus
