ive told it a million times, whats one more.
stop @ Giant 45 to sell a record to a guy who works there. Get back in my car headed east on 12th ave. right in front of the husky house I notice smoke coming from my tape deck. Initially I thought i had melted a tape, so I eject it, but nope, its intact. Next instinct says im overheating. So I look for a place to pull over and pop the hood. I see a spot around the corner in the parking lot of what used to be colonel belcher hospital (SE corner of 5th street and 12th ave). I pull in, park and pop the hood, expecting steam to come out...but theres nothing, no smoke, no steam nothing. So I go back to my car, and theres tonnes of smoke now. Seconds after I get back to my car there are flames coming from out of the dash. At this point I moved to the other side of the parking lot. No fire extinguisher, 911 was already called, nothing much more I could do at that point.
so full story is, i was driving, and what I believe to be an electrical fire started in my dash, sending the whole dash, followed by the interior up in flames. really, it all happened in what I guess to be under a minute, i mean after I popped my hood to check there, I was on teh phone w/ 911, and before I had the full adress given, there was flame all over the inside.
Factory (tape) deck, no extra speakers, no cigarettes, nothing like that. It just went up for no reason
