Compared to your last Departure mix, this is a very dancefloor-centric mix and has a very different feel but I LIKE IT!
As with all your mixes you never follow, putting in seemingly mismatched tracks but end up creating a beautiful flow. Flow has always been your strong point even with your quirky Arrival.
There's a couple of things I noticed:
01. Phonique ft. Erlend Oye - For the Time Being (Alexkid's Cold Mix) vs The Juan Maclean - Give Me Every Little Thing
This is not an official bootleg or whatever and it does not sound completely like the version Sasha played, what's going on here? In any case, I love this version.
03. The Similou - All This Love (The Drill Remix)
Did you edit this track? Shorten it or anything? It sounds different.
07. Tomas Andersson - Washing Up (Tiga Remix)
Very very dirty.
09. Lula - The DJ, The Music, and Me (Peace Division Vocal Mix)
A bit too long, I wish you edited this.
Overall I give this mix a 9/10 because it's a mix that definintely speaks to the dancefloor with tremendous potential from start to end. Very good track selection, a good mix of old and new.

You nailed it right on the head, this mix is best interpretted on the dancefloor because it's housey with a generous serving of easy listening grooves. I admit it's not the freshest tracks but I think the rhythm and momentum is there to carry the listener from start to end without skipping a beat. As for some of your observations, the Phonique vs. Juan Maclean track was overlaid by me. I found the Maclean track and dissected the beginning and changed the note in order to make it harmonize with the Phonique track. I also added bits of the original mix for the Similou track and overlaid it ontop of the Drill version. Hope you liked it. I didn't do much else in terms of editing tracks but I did some subtle effects and the not-so-subtle reverb in the beginning of the Similou build up HAHA. I'm really glad you liked this mix, I hope Departure will be a series that'll bring you back to good times of the past.
