Major triads or not?

Just wondering if most of you guys here just use triads in your arps?

or do you alternate between triads and melodies.

trying to figure out which way is more musical

God no. That would be boring.

But I guess it's the same as only using triads for you chords.

um

I would recommend if you using triads to use MINOR triads. I have tried to write a trance track in a major key and it sounded a bit too bubblegum for me. Minor always elicits more emotion in my mind.

Its whatever suits you I guess. To some people DJ Sammy is all they need.

okay thanks ive always heard that if you mix a major with a minor
that it creates emotio and tension but yeah ill try to stay in a minor triad and see if it is more ominous.

You pretty much just summarized Western music.
