So I recently decided to upgrade my aging HP digi cam. Althought it was a good starter cam, it wasnt producing very good pics.

I picked up the Sony Cyber-shot W30 and Im gonna give it a test run to see how well this cam takes pics. Also looking at Canon models if this one does take good pics.

Ive been seeing some high-end cams at the parties, so what model of cams do you guys use to take your pics? and would you recommend it?

Dunno. We bought it 2 weeks ago, and my sister took it with her on vacation. I'll be able to tell you after June 7th, which is when she comes back.

all the SD's take AMAZING pics.. I had the 450, and up until last ngiht.. i had a 600....

very true. the w30 i picked up for 300. from the pics i took today, its definetly produces a good bang for the buck.

haha, not the first to suggest Canon. But I think the Sony deserves a test run thru a GUV night, then well see.
