On Saturday, June 17th, proper house music returns to Avalon, one of the city’s most infamous and revered clubs. The one time church formerly known as Limelight continues playing host to a summer series of events with big room bangers Max Graham and EMC Crew (Mike Haddad & Royce Haven). They will be joined by Avalon resident DJ’s and all around nice guys Dany Veltri (Groovanauts) and Zach Roth (Chika NYC, Love).
"The ON button represents the start of all things electronic, but more importantly, it signifies that Avalon is once again part of our city’s thriving dance culture." says ON resident Dany Veltri. We are excited to see house music returning to Avalon, with such stellar lineups that promise to get electronic music fans in the door and keep the dancefloor grooving til dawn.
Max Graham:
Producer and composer, Max Graham, is a multi-talented artist who has wowed club goers around the world and gained the respect of his peers with his diverse, but distinctive, blend of dance music. Through incredible skills and his intense work ethic, Max has risen from humble beginnings to become a worldwide recognized name. He has the rare ability to refreshingly combine pure house music with his own favourite tracks from dance music genres such as progressive, techno, trance, disco and beyond. Max's trademark is a roller coaster ride of funky basslines, energetic rhythms and uplifting melodies. During this ride you are sure to hear a selection of Max's own productions, which include over 20 original tracks and more than 30 remixes.
Early highlights of Max's career include being invited to mix the fourth installment of the legendary Transport mix CD series. The success of Transport and the subsequent world tour, in 2001, led to Max being voted #23 in DJMag's coveted Top 100 DJs poll, the highest new entry that year.
Last year Max enjoyed success, with his smash hit Owner of a Lonely Heart; it was included on more than 10 compilations worldwide. His vocal hit I Know You're Gone, featuring Jessica Jacobs, was released in late 2005, on his own label, Shinemusic. 2005 saw more compilation signings and remix offers than ever before, including the BodyRockers and Ron Wood's (Rolling Stones) daughter - Leah. Industry giants Deep Dish took note; they asked Max to remix a track for their own label Yoshitoshi and his reworked original production Crank is due out on Yoshitoshi sometime in 2006. This year also sees Max's much anticipated (and long overdue) Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1.

Royce Haven:
Royce, a native of New York, grew up listening to many different genres of music. From the synth-driven sounds of the 80's to the growing movement of Hip-Hop, music has always been a friend. Royce was introduced to house music in 1989, when he moved to Washington D.C. He instantly fell in love with the diverse sounds of electronic dance music. He soon after purchased his first set of turntables and started mixing records.
Since 1989, his style has evolved considerably. A firm believer in having an original style,It is no wonder, then, why internationally recognized DJ's such as Dr. Kucho and Barry Gilbey have expressed their personal preference to play with Royce amidst of sea of less worthy contemporaries.
Royce has kept very busy over the past few years with his live DJ sets. Whether in the spotlight as a head-resident at the internationally renown PULSE in Washington D.C., slamming it down at the Rise in Boston, playing on the regular at Sulliven Room NYC, or maintaining his other residency at Dragonfly D.C., Royce has no shortage of appearances, along the East Coast of the United States.

His style of music can be described as progressive, dark, and danceable, as his sets showcase his passion and love for a wide variety of electronic dance music.
Dany Veltri:
Dany Veltri’s style is a thumping blend of electro, trance and progressive house music that ranges from the funky and uplifting to the evil and wicked.
