I'm starting to believe that the whole 'trance' genre is myth...

or more precisely a marketing tool used to deceive me to wrench my hard-earned money from me. What the vast majority of charlatans have passed off as trance for the past 16 years is anything but trance, and is mostly glossy rave- and club-oriented electronic tripe of no non-commercial value. In this group I include many so-called classics. If that crap is trance, then I want no part of it.

I'm starting to believe that real trance is so rare, that any efforts to find it, will more often than not, end in total failure. I've been bamboozled. This makes me want want to vomit.

what do you think qualifies as real trance?

seems anysone can name a couple tracks, but is there four hours worth or real trance out there? What about these stories of parties lasting multiple days? Can somebody point to such a long ass recording of real trance music anywhere?

What kind of gay statement is that, threadstarter ?

We all think you're very 'cool' you've unfolded the tricky part behind the trance scene

Edit: the only moron who would agree with this is Ishkur
