Memorization

I won a raffle a while ago, but my parents said that I had to learn 1100 vocabulary words from a book they got me before I could have the $$$. Any of you guys have any good memorization techniques?

They think it will help with the SATS/College admissions stuff. Their theory is that I'll be a better person for knowing them.

1100 words isn't even that many. Just study for 2 days and you'll get a free $800!
