Just got back from a midnight showing.

Gotta say... I really enjoyed this movie. It was more of the same, I'd say, but that formula seemed to work the first time around so why not bring it around again?

If you liked the first one, you'll more than likely enjoy this one as well. All the characters have been established already so you basically accompany Jack Sparrow and the gang on a new adventure. This one is pretty grand compared to the 'The Curse of the Black Pearl' one.

Looking forward to the final movie in the Trilogy.

The main theme is back (which is great since I loved it).

The new tunes are really catchy and fit in perfectly with the theme. They don't stray too far from the tracks from the original movie. Another good point!

i re-watched the first movie the other day in anticipation.

i'm excited about it; one of those good action flicks, ya know?
probably going to go see it tonight, late showing so it's not sold out by all the kids going to see it. probably see the first one beforehand to make it a pleasant movie night.

also, my friend's whole family is in the movie. he lives in the bahamas, and they're extras somewhere. we went to where they shot the movie (that part where they're on very shallow water, running...; only saw it in the preview), and it is goooorgeous: (it's in that little bay)

Going to see this next week with some mates. I really enjoyed the first one, so am looking forward to seeing this aswell. Hope they haven't botched it up like has happened with so many other films that follow on.

Saw it last night too it was great i laughed my ass off I think its one of the better movies ive seen this year, if your looking for a fun movie, definetly go watch it.
