It was in Mexico City according to the site.....
The logo looks somewhat like the loveparade's, so it might be a rip off

no so long ago "TranceMx" was created by some guys to organize trance-themed parties. The line up of the eurofest '05 was: Blank & Jones, Jess (form Motorcycle), Ramiro Puente, Ivan Mateluna, Dj Yorch, César Lugo and Sonic Fem. As you can see besides Blank & Jones and Jess there's no big names, however Ramiro Puente is well-known dj in Mexico's electronic circuit.

The team of "TranceMx" started to ask for support to all people who is into this kind of music, but it just turnout that what they wanted as support was sell tickets. That's the sad part of the story. That's why i don't like em.

it's tricky how they ask your support buying tickets, besides they
do file-sharing

The last January, we invited the people to join into a new club called "Comunidad Trance MX" not Trance MX like a brand or company.
You have to be clear the difference. Also you are wrong about your point of view because the goal of Trance Mx never never NEVER has been "sell tickets" it is a very small vision of the reality.

Our proposal was beyond that, as any Mexican (who lives in Mexico) knows, in our country the trance is not strong, we donīt
have any important and good quality trance gigs. We only have club parties with the "top ten" djs like pvd each year or amv for example.

In Mexico the promoters don't have interest for produce trance gigs because if they don't present a commercial and well known djs, they donīt have crowd, they loose their money.

Here the frequent gigs are with the same djs of "always", you know... sasha, dave seaman, james holden, chris fortier, etc.. and they come to play all the time(again and agian and again...) and they always have a good crowd (some people dont be tired for consume the same)

By the other side, the trance events are very difficult, there are poeple who like the trance music but they donīt had the chance
to enjoy good djs because no promoter took the risk for produce events of this kind of music. (Very high risk in Mexico)

We, as trancers produced events in the past with no big names but quality djs and we did an extraordinarry effort to focus the attention of the people in this genre, of course it has not been easy but we have been growing.

Our proposal was to invite the people to create an independent "trance club" able to produce its own events (extra events), not by business but for create the chance to enjow very talented djs and implel our national djs. In that way all together would create more possibilities of letting grow the trance scene...

We received thousands of support emails from the people, and we started with Menno de Jong and The Thrillseekers, but as you know they donīt play for free and you have to cover the flights and accomodations and other costs.

I insist this event was not from "Trance MX" the branding, this event was form "Trance MX Community" the club, so it is logic that all members of the club had to support the event in all sense, but unfortunately only a few did it! In that way, some guys covered more than 90% of the costs and we asked the help for the members of the club to support them to make all the possible actions to ensure the enough crowd to recover the cost only, not more. NOT ONLY SELL TICKETS MEN!!!!! (This event was not from Trance MX, it was of the community of trance mx, that is not the same. If the community produce its own event.. is not good that they by themselves support it?) Trance MX, the company does not gain a single cent with this, all is done by love to trance (and you can ask the members of the community if you wish)

As I said the "trance mx community" tried to create new spaces in Mexico for trance djs with the only goal to make big this scene in our country, for that reason I disagree with you, we don't support the project in "sell tickets" this is a very small and wrong vision.

Eurofest is not an event of "Trance MX Community", Eurofest was born 1 year before of the community. This is an event of "Trance MX" the brand, the enterprise in association with other producers and brands, the last year we had a great gig and this will be growing for future editions, but this festival is this project is completely other people's to the concept of the "Trance MX community"
donīt confuse that.. Eurofest is a gig with strong budget that supports the sell of tickets with advertising in radio, magazines, newspappers, internet adds, direct and hired caravans and another actions not in favors.

Nevertheless the people who please the genre talk about it and that is good, but please donīt confuse, the community and the company are two different and completely other people's things.

What site?? trance mx dont has a website, trance mx only has a forum.
The page that you see is not official, is only a webform temporary to get new registrations, the real site is very cool (the last year we had the best website in mexico for electronic music related pages)

The current page sucks, i agree

Right now this gig is planned for December. This gig will count with 5 international djs and the best national djs.

The info will be published at August 1st in the new site.

Cheers
