Did a quick search but can't find anything recently on this and I've been in the US for the majority of this year so hope it isn't old news...
Was in HMV today and noticed every GU CD they had was on sale down to £4! Bought everything they had which was GU# 08, 10, 11 14, 17, 19 and 20. Seems all GU is on sale even the Nick Warren Shanghai which was recently released but I already had that
I even managed to use my long expired student ID to get 10% discount on top of that, something I'm sure I didn't used to be able to do!
Happy shopping!

Technically I was asked if I was in possesion of a student ID card, not if I was student. There is a difference

Anyway, hope you are enjoying the cd's!
fucks sake tiz, anyone would think you're whiter than white!
Become a copper and forgotten your roots? sheesh. Using an expired student card to knock 10% off is hardly a masterful crime is it.
Whats next, ragging on the classic get on a train without a ticket one?

I have not forgotten my roots...I was merely exercising my brain re. application of law.
The first comment was meant in sheer jest. The 2nd was probably not needed, but so are half the topics posted.
You are right, 10% is petty and not something I am worried about.
If any offence was caused, I do appologise as it was not meant to be that way inclined. I fear I have somewhat lost sight of the original reason for the thread.
GU Cd's at £4 a pop ladys and germs....at HMV that is!
