It's all over the news here.. but at the same time, there doesn't seem to be a sense of panic. More just an attempt to alert anyone flying to prepare to wait longer and have more security checks.

The biggest thing it seems is not to be able to bring any hand luggage onto the plane.. they've limited belongings that you can have on your person - passport, tickets, money, prescription medicine (not liquid unless you taste it in front of them) and it all must be carried in a clear plastic bag which they are giving out at the airport.

The news here says 21 people have been arrested. They keep showing 2 houses in London with police surrounding them. I'm under the assumption I'm going to be watching this on the BBC all day. I'll post anything else I see that might be of interest.

As much as the situation is scary, watching the news here doesn't really give you a comprehensive picture that you should be afraid.. rather just slightly more inconvenienced if you're flying out. Jon is right - MI5 ftw.
