Review: tatgirl's & Irish Graham's wedding...
So, I am sure that everyone would wonder how a TA wedding would actually go...
...and it would go just as you all would imagine.
No other wedding would have a wonderful mix of Cafe del Mar as the opening song.
I would like to thank Nathalie and Graham for the invitation, I know that it must have been difficult to decide when you draw the line on the amount of people coming. The whole world would have wanted to be at this wedding.
Also thank you to Nathalie for thinking of many little details like a big bus to ship us all to and from the reception hall.
Now to the good stuff: The bus arrived at the hall and Graham was already greeting everyone warmly. He looked nervous but happy. The drinks were flowing from the bar and finger foods were being passed around. I hope whoever are the potato balls didn't burn their tongue as much as I did. Mingling with all the guests was great. Got to meet some of the Irish invation and many of Nathalie's old friends.
After about an hour of mingling, they called everyone into the room and there was a beautiful alter set up with seats for the guests to watch the cerimony. As everyone was getting settled we all started to finally focus on the music and that's right, Cafe del Mar was playing in the background. The others can fill in the other songs that were played at the beginning.
We were all patiently waiting to finally see the bride. The wedding party walked and finally Nathalie was accompanied by her brother and mom down the aisle. She looked amazing. The dress, the hair, the makeup were perfect. Nothing else could have been expected. Graham looked extremely confident and happy. The ceremony itself was very good. I was surpsised how well the reglions and traditions were blended together. Once the vows were said and papers signed, it was time to celebrate.
As the tables for the dinner and dancing were being set up, we all mingled some more and tried to figure out who we were sitting with at each table. The seating arrangements were also very well done. Nathalie is a true perfect hostess (but we all knew that already).
Music was the best part of this wedding (thanks to Muff2K who was the wedding DJ). I never heard such nice blending of traditional wedding tunes and dance tracks we all know and love. A big surprise was the Samba Crew coming in and doing a 20 minute show for us. That is something I will never forget. Even the older family members were into the whole thing.
Food was great, drinks were plentiful, people were all nice.
I can safely say: "THE BEST WEDDING!!".
Congrats again and now onto the honeymoon phase!!!
