I do believe today is the second time (setting aside all those times as a child when I didn't know any better). My car is finally done in. The poor girl died around noon. Nearly hit 128,000 miles. I'll really miss her.

A gradual process that's been happening since the beginning of this year. The winter was a bit too rough on her and caused some engine and electrical problems. Unfortunately, we didn't get to the electrical problems in time (only presented themselves again about 2 months ago, since January); they happened to come back again this morning but this time around multiple attempts to resuscitate led to nothing. Overall, the car could be considered totalled with the amount I'd have to spend to fix her up. So I guess I'll have to put her to sleep (send to the junkyard) unless I can find someone to pick the Maxima up for a bill or two. The car was actually 7 years old considering that the vehicle is released a year prior to its official year model number.
Thanks for the sympathy, Myra. It helps a lot.

Yeah, I’d like to know what horrible, scarring incident in your childhood turned you into such an ignorant, intellectual-hating philistine?

damn, that seems like kind of a waste considering the body/interior is probably still in great condition. i thought you were going to tell us that it was in an accident.
you could always dump it somewhere and try to claim it as stolen!
i know i have cried over an inanimate object before. i think when my computer stopped working sophomore year of college and there was nothing i could do but erase all of my mp3s and files.

When I was 15 I kinda cried over breaking my portable cd player.
Dropped the thing from the top level of a bunk bed what an idiot move.
Since then I just don't hang on to material things.
