Review ::: Nick Pilon, Ferry Corsten, & Marco G @ ARIA ::: Sept. 2
Nick's set = pumping, good job setting up for Ferry
Ferry's set = boring, melodic trance for the first two hours or so, then switched it up to some of the more danceable stuff, followed by electro to close out the set. Encored with "Rock Your Body" and the place went nuts. Some tracks I can recall Ferry dropping; Watch Out, Fire, L.E.F., Possession, I Love You (LP version) [which was sick to hear in a club environ btw], Junk, & PH's "Adrenaline" Don't remember too much other than that except for that whatever track he closed his set out with was fucking monstrous (ID anyone???)
Marco's set = first two hours were nice and diverse, the last hour all the tracks kinda sounded the same, although this may be attributed to my just being too tired to really tell the difference. Tracks spun were like a hybrid of electro and tech-trance.
crowd = at any given point in the night, even when it was packed, there was still room on the dancefloor to get down, unlike the last Ferry show (or was it April?) Anyways, that was nice.
TA's = SeanMP, TylerM, Light78, Selma (sorry, forgot your TA name), Enjoy, that crazy Caela girl.
overall rating = 8.5/10 Great night overall, not better than the April show IMO.
...surprised this thread didn't exist already.
